Benefits of membership: The Writers
Writing is known to be a solitary profession. For the most part the writer has to be alone. But when it comes to critiquing your work and revising it, the voice in your head isn't always right. Two new events! October 19 and November 2
Happy to report Solace in So Many Words will be at two upcoming events. October 19, Saturday, we will be reading and selling Solace in So Many Words at the Barnes and Noble in Rockford. This event is put on by In Print, which is a professional writers association out of Rockford (and affiliated with our own Chicago Writers Association). I am by no means a naturalist. I can't name all the plants and animals I come across. But when I am feeling blah, I can look to nature and recapture that sense of wonder. Maybe you can too.
