Have your own take on solace?

Weighed Words is looking to publish another volume on solace, so if you would like to submit, here are the guidelines:

1. Read Solace in So Many Words (better yet, buy it.)

2. Be prepared to be rejected.  If your piece of writing is so close to you that it would break your heart if it got rejected, please don’t submit.  I don’t want to break you heart; I have enough guilt.

3. Submit only your best work.  All that stuff you heard about presentation and professionalism and punctuation and usage– well, it’s true.  Think about it before you mail it off to me.

4. Note that the submission period has not even opened.  See?  You do have time to think about that manuscript.  The reading period will begin October 31, 2012 and extend until Jan 1, 2013.

5. Have patience please. This gig is new to me and I might be inundated; I’m not the fastest car on the track.

6. Check back to this site from time to time to see if anything has changed (and because we love you).
