Weighed Words is participating in The Collection Giveaway Project, which has been organized By Erika Dreifus at Fiction Writers Review. I found out about it from Dan Wickett of Emerging Writers Network.
Like the other participating publishers, Weighed Words will give away a book of short stories. We chose Bluebirds Used to Croon in the Choir by Joe Meno because Joe is also a contributor to Solace in So Many Words. As a bonus, a copy of Solace in So Many Words will also go to the winner. All you have to do to enter is respond to this post. My original question was What is your favorite short story? But since my original posting, I realized I would be hard presssed to pick a favorite and so changed the question to: What short stories matter to you? But I am no stickler and would be like to hear just about anything you care to say about a short story you like.
Also, I want to make sure you check out the guest blog by J. Scott Smith because it features “Lynlee Floats,” a short story that matters to me.
