Hey there! Let the good times roll! It’s Fat Tuesday. I’m making gumbo and I bought a king cake so we’ll have a little Mardi Gras celebration tonight.
Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. I won’t get ashes. I’m not a practicing Catholic. I do like some of the rituals and practices though. So I plan on observing Lent by giving up Facebook and by limiting my use of plastic (I realize I cannot give it up totally).
