The first is Thursday, April 28 to launch Brute Neighbors: Urban Nature Prose, Poetry and Photography at the Book Cellar, 4736-38 N. Lincoln. The next day, Friday, April 29, she will be part of the The Encyclopedia Show: Creation Myths at the Chicago Cultural Center, Claudia Cassidy Theater at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $8.

Michael Constantine McConnell has a story “King of the Gypsies” in Blood & Honey Review. He also has two poems in the online magazine Yes, Poetry. Michael is also part of The Jakeys, a nine-piece original Celtic Folk Rock band from Denton, TX, and they recently released “No Second Spring.”
