Congratulations to Patty Somlo! She will have a new book of stories out in the coming year. Hairway to Heaven will be published by Cherry Castle Publishing in 2015.

I haven’t had any literary acceptances lately but have had more luck with my photographs. Two (“Shoo” and “Bounty”) appear in the latest issue of the digital magazine Control literary magazine.
Earlier in 2014 my photo “Cold Heart” appeared on the cover of Vine Leaves Literary Journal. I am happy to say that the photo was also chosen to be in the annual print anthology, The Best of Vine Leaves, 2014. This will be the first time I see one of my photos actually in print.
My friend Kent McDaniel is a writer, musician, and singer songwriter. In one of this latest posts he shares an original song , something he refers to as “Blues for the Idealist” and I think it is rather solace-y. The song is titled “May You Still Believe” and you can listen to it at Kent’s site, Dumbfounding Stories.
