September break, summer photos
Happy September! Labor Day weekend is here and summer is over. Hope you have fun in store for you this holiday. My writing groups are resuming and I have manuscripts due. Summer has provided me with lots of time to play and socialize but I haven't been very diligent. So, I am taking a few weeks off--a staybbatical, so to speak. I'll be back September 23. Tuesday I had the most pleasant afternoon, spending it on the fourth floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art, taking in the art of Kerry James Marshall. The “Mastry” exhibit goes to September 25. Hey there -- Somehow I've missed a week and I can't tell you where it went. There's been lots of socializing lately -- a retirement party, dinners out, a play ("Mary Page Marlow" by Tracy Letts at Steppenwolf), end of the year parties, birthdays, workshops etc. Hope your calendar is full of fun.
