I went down to Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Avenue and Chestnut to say good-bye to Ernie Banks. I am so glad I did. After I viewed the casket and we went to the pews, I said my thanks to him. It is odd to me that pictures are taken at a church, of a casket, but since everyone else was doing it, I took my camera out too. This past weekend was Open House Chicago, which is put on by the Chicago Architecture Foundation, and gives free, behind-the-scenes access to 150 buildings across Chicago. Pizza, Papercuts, and Weiwei
Last week The Chicagoist published "The 20 Best Pizzas in the Chicago Area." When I posted the link on FB, it got more “likes” than a lot of my posts. Wednesday I went with two of my sisters to try a place on the list. It’s Flo & Santos, 1310 S. Wabash. The Chicagoist was right, the pizza was good.
