Not much to report except to say I am finding comfort in routine. My wonderful writing group The Writers has started up again, and my Wednesdays are all about writing, my writing friends, and hearing and critiquing new work. Writing is known to be a solitary profession. For the most part the writer has to be alone. But when it comes to critiquing your work and revising it, the voice in your head isn't always right. I am happy to report that I recently heard from Teresa S. Mathes and Pat Rahmann that they will be able to read at out next event, which is Thursday, July 21, at The BookMarket in Glenview. Woo-hoo!
