This month I continued to write and submit and my writers group (The Writers<\/strong>) started up. The Writers is looking for new members<\/strong><\/a>. So if you live in the Chicago area and can meet Wednesday mornings, think about applying. Let me know if you have questions.<\/p>\n

Also in September I went to Max and Benny\u2019s<\/strong> <\/a>for an author night (organized by Richard Reeder<\/strong><\/a>). The author who spoke is Beth Finke<\/strong><\/a> and she has a new book (Writing Out Loud)<\/strong><\/em> on teaching memoir writing to seniors.\"\"<\/p>\n

Self-reverential though it may be, I share here \u201cSeptember can be vibrant,\u201d<\/strong><\/a> which originally appeared on Foliate Oak Literary Magazine<\/strong><\/em>, and \u201cAutumnal equinox,\u201d<\/strong><\/a> which I posted on this site five years ago.<\/p>\n
