    This Monday, December 5<\/strong>, at 7 pm at Evanston Public Library<\/a><\/strong>, Main branch, Community meeting room, Evanston writers Susan Spaeth Cherry<\/strong>, Joan Corwin<\/strong>, Carol Kanter<\/strong>, \u00a0Paula W. Peterson<\/strong> and Pat Rahmann<\/strong> along with editor Ellen Wade Beals<\/strong> and other contributors such as Pamela Miller<\/strong>, J. Scott Smith<\/strong>, and Kathleene Donahoo <\/strong>and D. J. Lachance<\/strong> will read various selections from \u00a0Solace in So Many Words. <\/strong><\/em>It is at the Evanston Library<\/strong>, \u00a0Main Library, 1703 Orrington Avenue<\/strong>,\u00a0Evanston, IL 60201,\u00a0(847) 448-8600. \u00a0I hope to see you there!<\/p>\n

    \"Woman<\/a>Our next event, which I have dubbed “Solace on a Sunday afternoon,” <\/strong>is the following Sunday, December 11<\/strong> at Woman Made Gallery<\/a><\/strong>, a place that is near and dear to my heart. \u00a0We have a full lineup of readers, including Kathleen Kirk<\/strong>, Pamela Miller<\/strong>, Joan Corwin<\/strong>, Kathleene Donahoo<\/strong>, Carol Kanter<\/strong>, \u00a0J. Scott Smith<\/strong>, D. I. Gray<\/strong>, J. D. Lachance<\/strong> (and\u00a0me). \u00a0 On exhibit currently in the gallery is a group show called “Bare Essentials: Minimalism in the 20th Century” as well as solo shows by Ulli Rooney and Kathleen Waterloo. \u00a0 \u00a0And if you want to do some holiday shopping, the Artisan Gallery <\/strong>will be open for one-of-a-kind gifts. \u00a0 So please come by Woman Made \u00a0Gallery<\/strong> (685 N.
