She subsequently has had poems published in a number of literary magazines and anthologies, including \u00a0<em>Ariel<\/em>, <em>Atlanta Review<\/em>, <em>Kaleidoscope Ink<\/em>, <em>The Madison Review<\/em>, <em>The Mid-America Poetry Review<\/em>, and <em>Thema.<\/em> Finishing Line Press published her first chapbook, <em>\u201c<\/em>Out of Southern Africa,\u201d in 2005, and her second, <em>\u201c<\/em>Chronicle of Dog<em>,\u201d<\/em> in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Carol is a psychotherapist in private practice. She has a B.A. in biology, an M.A. in clinical social work, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology.
