This post features work by two talented photographers. Kathy’s photos are recent, taken of Lake Michigan a few weeks ago. I thought it was neat to juxtapose them with Kevin’s rose. After all, the rose seems to me to be a February flower. So, if you didn’t receive any roses on Valentine’s Day, here’s a late one. Hope you feel the love.<\/p>\n

Kathy Buckland <\/strong>is an avid photographer and nature enthusiast. She lives in Glenview, IL, and is out just about every weekend with her camera. And, I am so grateful she is; her work has been featured several times on this site.<\/p>\n

Kevin Nance<\/strong> is a Chicago-based art photographer, photojournalist and freelance writer. His work appears in the Chicago Tribune<\/em><\/strong>, the Chicago-Sun-Times<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0the Washington Post<\/em><\/strong>, the Wall Street Journal<\/strong><\/em>, USA Today<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0Poets & Writers Magazine <\/strong><\/em>and other publications. This is the second time Kevin has contributed to Glimpse of Solace.<\/p>\n
