Seed Catalogs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Almost time to plant inside, tiny plants<\/p>\n

emerging from peat pots, thirsting for sun\u2019s slant<\/p>\n

to stout their sprout, break open their small hearts<\/p>\n

to bless us with heavenly scents, off charts.<\/p>\n

Tall sunflowers grow, to hold on their heads<\/p>\n

caps of snow next year, keep hungry birds fed.<\/p>\n

Brownbagging for winter, start indoor seeds now,<\/p>\n

squash, parsnips, tomatoes, feed hungry cows<\/p>\n

with corn spread later when soil\u2019s just warm,<\/p>\n

plant garlic or marigolds to deter gorms<\/p>\n

of beetles, nesting bugs that wish to feast<\/p>\n

on new plants, feeding all\u2019s nature of beast.<\/p>\n

Spring starts off with glory of sweet peas scent;<\/p>\n

beware of rabbits pitching outdoor tents.<\/p>\n
