\"\"<\/a>April showers today; I love the rumble. Here are some updates about the artists whose work has been featured on Glimpse of Solace<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Cleary<\/strong> is going to have a show “In Exhibition: Daniel Cleary, new and selected paintings” starting tomorrow <\/strong>April 10\u00a0 at the Uptown Arts Center, 941 W. Lawrence<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brendan Coudal <\/strong>continues to be inspired by his cats Max and Phoebe\"\"<\/a><\/strong> <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But he also has a number of new projects. Check out all Brendan\u2019s visual art at his website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One painting he recently completed and has available for purchase is “Best Coast,”<\/strong><\/a> which highlights the Florida coast from Anna Maria to Boca Grande.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kevin Nance <\/strong>writes about books and photographs authors for several publications, including the <\/strong>Chicago Tribune<\/strong><\/em> (check out his feature “Richard Price on “The Whites'”<\/strong> <\/a>which appeared April 2). He also recently traveled to New Orleans and other southern cities and has several albums of stunning photos. You can view his work here<\/a> and on his Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Kathy Buckland<\/strong> has made some of her photos into a beautiful line of greeting cards (The World Around Us<\/strong>). They are currently for sale at Glenview Grind<\/strong><\/a> in Glenview.\u00a0 Follow her on Instagram @ I_M_Kathy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Glenview, some poetry does come from here, one source is\u00a0 Pirene\u2019s Fountain<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, which publishes a poetry journal and books.\u00a0 There\u2019s a new call for submissions to an anthology series to be called\u00a0 Aeolian Harp, <\/strong>which will consist of ten “folio” sections for each poet.
