I found out about it from Dan Wickett of\u00a0<a title=\"Emerging Writers Network\" href=\"http:\/\/emergingwriters.typepad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Emerging Writers Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Like the other participating publishers, Weighed Words\u00a0will give away a book of short stories. We chose\u00a0<em>Bluebirds Used to Croon in the Choir<\/em> by\u00a0<strong>Joe Meno <\/strong>because Joe is also a contributor to <em><strong>Solace in So Many Words<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>. <\/em><\/strong>As a bonus, a copy of<em> Solace in So Many Words <\/em>will also go\u00a0to the winner. \u00a0All you have to do to enter is respond to this post. \u00a0My original question was\u00a0<strong>What is your favorite short story? <\/strong>But since my original posting, I realized I would be hard presssed to pick a favorite and so changed the question to: \u00a0<strong>What short stories matter to you?<\/strong> But I am no stickler and would be like to hear just about anything you care to say about a short story you like.<\/p>\n<p>Also, I want to make sure you check out the guest blog by J.
