Laura Rodley<\/strong> is a writer whose poetry has appeared here many times. She is also a feature writer and photographer for Country Folks<\/strong><\/em>, Country Grower<\/em><\/strong>, Mane Stream<\/em><\/strong>, and other publications. Some of her recent features include \u201cUMass Cherry Bomb Ice Cream and Maple Valley Creamery\u201d<\/a> and \u201cCartwheels at the 147th Cummington Fair.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

When asked about the photo, Laura replies \u201cI love all creatures–squirrels, mice, chipmunks, including a huge frog that was hanging out in a bucket of teasel waiting to be transplanted that we noticed and let loose yesterday.’<\/p>\n

She received a Pushcart Prize for her poem \u201cResurrection,\u201d<\/strong> (<\/a>originally in The New Verse News<\/em> and now in Pushcart Edition XXXVII).<\/em> Her creative writing has appeared in Boston Literary Magazine<\/em>,\u00a0 Best Indie Lit New England<\/em>, Massachusetts Review<\/em>, and Hunger Mountain<\/em> among others.<\/p>\n

She is editor and publisher of As You Write It<\/em><\/strong>, A Franklin County Anthology<\/em><\/strong>, a compilation of memoirs from seniors age 70 through 95. Former co-curator of the Collected Poets Series, she also teaches creative writing.<\/p>\n

Laura has two chapbooks from Finishing Line Press: Rappelling Blue Light<\/em> <\/a>and Your Left Front Wheel Is Coming Loose.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
