Hello!\u00a0 Yesterday I visited some of the sites open to the public through Open House Chicago,<\/strong><\/a> which is put on by the Chicago Architecture Foundation<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

We saw three sites in the Jefferson Park\/Portage Park<\/strong> area: Portage Arts Lofts,<\/strong><\/a> and visted some of its tenants (Inside Out Art Studio & Mask Shop<\/strong> <\/a>and the National Veterans Art Museum<\/strong><\/a>), the Portage Theater<\/strong>, and the Jefferson Masonic Temple<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Next on our list was the Bath House Cultural Center<\/strong> (1019 N. Wolcott), which is one of four remaining bathhouses built by the city; it\u2019s been converted into residential and meeting spaces.<\/p>\n

The last stop was in the Gold Coast<\/strong> area to the Graham Foundation<\/strong><\/a> at 4 W. Burton Place; the Prairie-Style mansion used to be known as Madlener House<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Here are some of my photos \u2013 as you\u2019ll see I did not take pictures at every site (or they didn\u2019t turn out).<\/p>\n

I am already looking forward to Open House Chicago 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
