Happy Belated Birthday to Solace in So Many Words,<\/em> <\/strong>which was launched into this world six years ago at Women and Children First Bookstore<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been thinking about Solace in So Many Words<\/strong> and my writing lately because I can do little else since my back has been acting up and I can\u2019t sit at my desk (which is why this post will be short). \"Margarita\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I continue to be proud of the contributors<\/strong> to Solace in So Many Words <\/em><\/strong>and their accomplishments. Just this week it was announced that Margarita Engle<\/a><\/strong> has been named Young People\u2019s Poet Laureate by the Poetry Foundation<\/strong><\/a>. This is great news!<\/p>\n

CONGRATULATIONS!!<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

A couple of weeks ago, some spring flowers sat for portraits so I\u2019ll share them with you. I’ll write again soon.\u00a0 Happy Mother’s Day too.<\/strong><\/p>\n
