The big news in poetry is that Philip Levine is the new U.S. Poet Laureate so we want to wish him congratulations! Two of his poems (“Songs” and “Waking in Alicante”) appear in Solace in So Many Words. Our admiration for his writing was the reason we contacted Philip Levine, and our admiration for him grew as we worked with him. Phil is down-to-earth and approachable, just like his poetry.
