Celebrating Solace in so many years
Four years ago Solace in So Many Words was launched. As expected, sales have tapered off, but I still frequently hear from people that the book has helped them. Maybe they consulted it when a loved one died or turned to it on a night when they need some consolation. This makes me feel good for it is the reason I created the book. I guess I could wish you happy April 20; I don't know though. It is an inauspicious date. I saw "Real Time with Bill Maher" the other day -- he's starting a movement to make 4/20 a federal holiday to celebrate pot, and I've got to admit his spoof "Twas the Night Before 4/20" was pretty clever (especially for a bunch of stoners--haha). Spring, taxes, and news (Boyle and Aguero)
April 15 is the day to file your taxes in the US. Every year I vow to be more prepared so I am not looking for documents at the last minute or having to make a run to the accountant. But guess what? I never change and I am always somewhat frantic. The same with spring.
