Happy Mother’s Day. This past week, the weather in Chicago has been extreme. Monday night we wore gloves. Thursday was in the 90s. The spring plants are late; some tulips just now blooming. The flowering trees are coming into their own. So far today’s weather in Chicago is near perfect. The fourth day into February and it looks a lot like its January predecessors. The forecast is for more snow. More Snow The snow, the snow, the silent snow Comes down & piles up all around In seamless drifts & (as we go) Covers up every inch of ground. I "met" Daniel Cleary over Facebook. He lives in Chicago and we know people in common so it is surprising I have not met him in reality.
