Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day. This past week, the weather in Chicago has been extreme. Monday night we wore gloves. Thursday was in the 90s. The spring plants are late; some tulips just now blooming. The flowering trees are coming into their own. So far today’s weather in Chicago is near perfect. Arthur Powers has a new book, The Book of Jotham, out on Kindle. The Book of Jotham won the 2012 Tuscany Prize for Catholic Fiction for the Novella and is published by Tuscany Press, which is "seeking and making known stories with human frailties, beauty, grace, love, redemption, hope, courage and the presence of God."
