Solace in So Many Words is two years old, and I am trying to build some new interest in the book. After all we know that its subject matter is timely so the collection is still relevant. The Book Stall was swell
Many thanks to The Book Stall for hosting our celebration of Poetry Month---to Roberta Rubin for inviting us to read and especially to Amy and Gordon who worked late to accommodate us. The Book Stall has been named Publishers Weekly Bookstore of the Year and it is obvious why. The Book Stall is supportive of readers and writers alike. Gatsby Books in Long Beach–sublime!
Our trip to Long Beach was a definite success and a blast to boot. The reading at Gatsby Books went well as we suspected it would since Sean Moor, who owns Gatsby Books, and Alisha Attell, who coordinates the events there, were so enthusiastic about our coming to read there. Grace!
This past Sunday we felt the grace of Grace Place where Solace in So Many Words was the topic at the adult formation hour. Grace Place is the name for the first floor meeting room of Grace Episcopal Church, which is a storefront church with a second floor sanctuary.
