The Fourth of July made me think about our nation’s Declaration of Independence, a declaration made while the Colonies were already at war, a war they fought for some six years longer. Daniel Cleary was born in Tipperary Town, Ireland and grew up there, and lived for a few years in London, England, before moving to Chicago in 1968. Happy June 29th –hope your summer is going well so far. Here in Chicago I know it’s summer because the weeds are taking off and the skeeters are back. And it’s the season of the Cancer birthdays.
