Though it was not on the Open House Chicago tour, Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Parish was near the restaurant we went to in River North so we stopped in. I give up. I spent the past few days trying to write a blog that was witty and timely. I wanted it to be smart like an essay by Roxane Gay.
