This past Sunday we felt the grace of Grace Place where Solace in So Many Words was the topic at the adult formation hour. Grace Place is the name for the first floor meeting room of Grace Episcopal Church, which is a storefront church with a second floor sanctuary. It seems I am still in the midst of promoting Solace in So Many Words and will be for a while. You understand, a child needs to be nurtured. One question that has gone to the back burner of my mind but is still simmering is: Who left the cookies? On July 4 a paper plate of chocolate chip cookies wrapped in plastic was left between my front doors. No one in the household could tell me who left them.
