I give up.  I spent the past few days trying to write a blog that was witty and timely. I wanted it to be smart like an essay by Roxane Gay. Two new events! October 19 and November 2

Happy to report Solace in So Many Words will be at two upcoming events. October 19, Saturday, we will be reading and selling Solace in So Many Words at the Barnes and Noble in Rockford.   This event is put on by In Print, which is a professional writers association out of Rockford (and affiliated with our own Chicago Writers Association). The Chicago lit scene rocks!

The Pop-Up Bookfair was Sunday at The Empty Bottle and it was a lot of fun. I've been singing the praises of Curbside Splendor Press and will continue to do so. Not only does Curbside have a great catalog, but it has amped up the lit scene in Chicago.
