Hey there – happy summer! I am happy to start the season with a cover shot. My photo “Petal Perfect” is the cover of the latest Olentangy Review. Glimpse of Solace: Kathy Buckland

I couldn't finish the winter without posting these terrific photos by Kathleen Buckland. Next week I might need to post something more springlike but for today I just want to focus on these fantastic shots. As you can see, Kathy has been visiting the Lake Michigan shoreline. Flo W. Rider was born in France in the 1970s and is a self-taught image maker, who writes, “I feel influenced by so many kinds of images that I really like to kind of give back many kinds of images in return.
